The Wellness Center at our Emerald Clinic in Boise is a Ryan White grant recipient clinic that provides comprehensive, interdisciplinary medical care to more than 800 individuals living with HIV/AIDS in Southern Idaho and Eastern Oregon. We see patients who are newly diagnosed with HIV and who have been living with HIV for years, while also providing a wide range of consult services on HIV-related issues.

Pre-exposure prophylaxis, or PrEP, is a way for people who do not have HIV to help prevent HIV infection by taking a pill every day. When used consistently, PrEP has been shown to greatly reduce the risk of HIV infection in people who are at substantial risk.
