Individual appointments with a Registered Dietitian for medical nutrition therapy available to patients who cannot participate in group programs. Outpatient scheduling. Medical nutrition therapy involves a comprehensive assessment of the child’s nutritional status followed by interventions for a personalized course of treatment for conditions such as weight management, congenital heart defects, slowed growth, elevated cholesterol, and food allergies.

Lactation Consultants (IBCLC) certified by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners. Help with breastfeeding issues including infections, engorgement, clogged nipples, milk production issues, positioning problems, and questions about breastfeeding or equipment. Services extend to infants (neonates, premature, feeding difficulties) and older infants with chronic conditions; support for breastfeeding employees transitioning back to work. Consultations include comprehensive assessments and individualized plans with counseling, problem solving, and goal setting. To schedule, call 638-6600.
